What are the computer installation prerequisites?

Who can be the recipient of the connection kit dispatch?

A connection kit can be sent directly to the Subscriber. When batching kits, the Certificate Manager can mention the name and address of a person receiving all the kits in the connection kit sales Contract.

How to obtain the certificate on the microprocessor card?

The Subscriber receives an e-mail about the availability of the certificate from SG Trust Services. He must click on the hypertext link in this e-mail that will take him to the SG Trust Services website.

Before going ahead with the procedure of obtaining the certificate on a microprocessor card, the Subscriber must first check that the microprocessor card reader has been installed correctly and that it is connected properly. Once the installation is complete, you must change the microprocessor card default PIN code.

Does the certificate need to be tested?

In accordance with the Individual Subscriber Request, the Subscriber is responsible for testing the certificate within 7 consecutive working days from obtaining the Certificate. After this period of time, the Subscriber will be deemed to have accepted his Certificates. This procedure is described on our website in the section dealing with Management of Certificates.

How to be sure that the certificate stored on the microprocessor card is installed correctly?

The Subscriber must first insert his microprocessor card in the reader provided. The procedure is then identical to that described for "software" certificates: with regard to certificates on the microprocessor card, the public keys of certificates appear in the browsers.

What is the final date for obtaining the certificate?

From the time the Subscriber is informed by e-mail about the availability of the certificate, he has a period of 30 calendar days from the date the e-mail was sent to download it from our website. After this period of time, the certificate will be destroyed; the amount due as subscription to this certificate service is deemed to have been acquired by SG Trust Services. The certificate will be liable neither for reimbursement nor credit. The company will then have to obtain another one that will be invoiced.
